Short Term Services:
Conference Facilities and Residential and Office Suites

 

If you plan to do work in the Niger delta and need to get mobilized for work on short notice, or you are looking for short term or medium term accommodation or office space while you find more permanent facilities, or if you want to hold a workshop or conference, visit us and discuss your requirements.

The main objective of NDWC’s Development Complex is to promote development of the human and natural resources of the Niger Delta through participatory development and training. NDWC has made considerable investment to provide facilities for the Short Term Services of the Complex in order that other organizations can also contribute to this objective. Charges are made for conference facilities and residential and office use in the Complex in order to maintain operations and recover funds invested.

 
 

Residents/occupants will thus be selected for their potential contribution to the objective. Management of the suites and the entire Complex will be guided by stipulated regulations to ensure security and a quality environment for the work of NDWC and its guests, students and clients.

 

Services available for extra charges include: meals, photocopier, telephone land line, overhead projector, VCR, classrooms, secretarial services, personal laundry service, etc. A state-of-the-art public address system is also available.

Suites are self-contained and are furnished for residential (maximum of two persons) or office (single company or organization) use. Suites include: front-room (receiving room or office), rear room (bed/office room), walk-in store room, full toilet/shower room, windows with security protectors and mosquito netting, hot and cold water, air-conditioner, basic furnishings.

Development complex facilities common to all occupants include: parking, bore-hole, municipal gas turbine power with backup generators, security wall, 24 hour uniformed security guards, pass system for visitors, refuse collection, full weekly cleaning and laundry, common room with regulated use of kitchen facilities, cable TV, wireless internet connectivity, basketball court, exercise bike, etc.
